1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how KCM Technologies ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information when you use the Tirupati Self Drive Cars mobile application and related services for renting self-drive cars and bikes offered under the name Tirupati Self Drive Cars (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide
- Account details: mobile number (used for OTP login), name and email address.
- Booking details: selected vehicle, pickup and return dates, booking history and booking status.
- Identity and driving documents: driving licence number and copies of identity or licence documents, where you upload them, so we can verify your eligibility to rent a vehicle.
- Support communication: messages, calls or emails you send to our support team.
- Ratings and feedback you submit about a booking.
b) Information collected automatically
- Device information such as device model, operating system version and app version.
- A device or push-notification token, so we can send booking updates.
- Basic usage and diagnostic information such as crash logs.
c) Payment information
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. We receive only the payment status, transaction ID and amount so that we can confirm your booking.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure your account and verify you with a one-time password (OTP).
- To process bookings, take the advance payment and manage your rental.
- To verify your identity and driving eligibility.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and service updates by app notification, SMS, email or WhatsApp.
- To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- To prevent fraud, misuse and unauthorised access.
- To improve the app and our services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing of Information
We share your information only where needed to provide the Service:

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet accounting, tax and legal requirements, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and correction: you can ask us for the personal information we hold about you and request corrections.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and data (see section 8).
- Withdraw consent: you can stop notifications in your phone settings or contact us to opt out of promotional messages.
- Grievance: you can raise a concern with us at any time using the contact details below.
These rights are provided in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Account and Data Deletion
To delete your account and associated personal data, send a request from your registered mobile number to support@kcmtechnologies.in with the subject "Account Deletion Request", or call us on +91 90000 83834. We will verify your identity and complete the request within 30 days.
Some records, such as booking and payment records, may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting and legal obligations.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above who hold a valid driving licence. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The app may open third-party apps or sites (for example the phone dialer or WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
